For many years, horticulture professionals have lacked adequate representation. Many decisions by state, regional, and local agencies have been made with little or no input from the landscape design, installation, maintenance, interiorscape industries or growers.

The goal of this association is to ensure that issues and decisions that affect landscape professionals receive the full consideration and input of those professionals affected.
